What is MaxCASS Plus?
MaxCASS Plus is Anchor Software’s USPS CASS Certified software for verifying, validating and standardizing addresses. It updates mailing lists and customer databases with the most complete, correct and current USPS address information available.
What is CASS certification?
CASS (Coding Accuracy Support System) is the USPS program that tests address-matching software for accurate ZIP Code, ZIP + 4, delivery point and carrier route coding. According to USPS, any mailing claimed at an automation price must be produced from address lists matched and coded with CASS-certified methods. CASS explained.
How is MaxCASS Plus different from a simple address checker?
It doesn’t just check an address. It corrects typos, adds missing ZIP + 4 codes, formats every address to USPS standards and runs integrated DPV, LACSLink and SuiteLink processing.
What do DPV, LACSLink and SuiteLink do?
DPV confirms an address is a known USPS delivery point. LACSLink updates addresses converted after 911 system implementations. SuiteLink adds known suite numbers to business addresses. All three are integrated in MaxCASS Plus.
What is the RDI option?
RDI (Residential Delivery Indicator) tells you whether an address is residential or business, which is especially useful for parcel shipping. It’s available as a MaxCASS Plus option.
How fast is MaxCASS Plus?
In batch mode it processes millions of records per hour. Real-time mode validates individual addresses instantly for things like online sign-ups.
Can it validate international addresses?
Yes. MaxCASS Plus validates both U.S. and international records.
Does MaxCASS Plus handle change-of-address updates?
Yes, with the MaxMover add-on, which provides a certified NCOALink interface. USPS requires CASS processing before Move Update processing, so the two work together. About MaxMover.
How does it fit into our systems?
Upload a database or spreadsheet, connect from your CRM or billing system, or integrate MaxCASS Plus with enterprise systems. It can also run as a standalone solution, with multi-platform support.
What happens to addresses that can't be corrected?
They’re flagged, so you can review them, contact the customer or update your list before you mail.
